Most candidates complete their CxP certification in 2 to 4 weeks, but you can go faster or slower depending on your schedule. As soon as you enroll, you’ll get full access to the training portal and can progress at your own pace — without waiting for a cohort or instructor.
To maintain ICxA Certification, members must keep their monthly/annual membership active. While not madatory, participation in ongoing professional development through quarterly leadership events, advisory council discussions, and other ICxA-hosted sessions designed to support continuous growth and leadership in your commissioning journey. That way, you are guaranteed to succeed with the support and mentorship provided by the ICxA Commissioning Community.
After passing the exam and achieving your CxP certification exam, the next levels are earned based on real-world project experience. There is no time limit, and when you have earned the required experience, you can submit your experience for review by the ICxA Board of Directors. When you earn each experience level, you achieve the next ICxA Certification Level, which is displayd on the ICxA website and verified on the blockchain. Once enrolled as a member, you will receive access to the experience portal to submit your project experience.
Yes. If you have experience leading and managing commissioning, you can submit this experience to qualify for higher certification levels much quicker. Pass the exam and submit yuro experience and then be certified to the level most appropriate based on your experience.
